What mothers are saying about the course...

"I had my baby at home a week ago, and it was such a beautiful experience that I wish I could relive it over and over again. Amber’s course showed me the beauty of natural birth and helped me embrace it fully. Her pelvic floor exercises made labor smoother and helped me open up emotionally (don’t forget to do them on a daily basis). Moreover, Amber’s constant support answered all my questions and brought me peace. 🙏🏽 Thanks to her, I felt so damn beautiful, powerful, and truly happy during my pregnancy ❤ Thank you dear Amber for everything you’ve done for us! We love you!" -Alex

So what's your story?

Hi, I’m Amber! :)

I'm a 34 year old woman who has always desired kids, but has been conditioned to be totally fearful of birth!

The first time I saw the positive pregnancy test I was riddled by anxiety and resistance. 10 days later, I started bleeding and my body decided it wasn't a viable pregnancy. I spent the next 9 months grieving as I grappled with what happened and what I actually desired.

Then, one day in January I was sitting in a Temazcal Ceremony (sweat lodge) at a yoga retreat I was leading in Nicaragua when I was confronted with my deep rooted fear around birth.

Engulfed (metaphorically and what felt physically at the time) by the flames of fear- I saw myself with legs open giving birth to a child.

Gasping for air I realized that this was how birth would feel- intense and unexpected, with nowhere to escape to.

So I did what one must do- I surrendered to the fear.

My breath slowed, my fear dissipated, and the ceremony ended. I crawled out of the hut and thanked this earth for showing me what I needed to see.

I proclaimed to my husband that I was ready to be pregnant. That night, we conceived our spirit daughter. We knew immediately that it would be a girl and that she would be called Sofia.

Now, I am preparing for a natural FEARLESS birth in our home in Nicaragua this October.

This deeply connected pregnancy has compelled me to empower other women to overcome their fears and prepare for a natural birth. :)

What women love about the EWE supportive community...

"Amber is a wonderful yoga teacher and friend on the other side of the world! Since the second trimester of my pregnancy, I’ve been attending her yoga group “Empowered while Expecting,” and I really look forward to this highlight every Friday! The interaction with other pregnant women, the well-thought-out theory part, and the gentle movements to prepare my body for birth always feel very good and right. I really appreciate Amber’s empathetic, loving, and clear way of leading the group. Thank you so much for creating this beautiful space! ♡" -Gini
